Danny Boy / Londonderry Air
Bass handbell solo

Here’s Larry’s first bass handbell solo arrangement, using bells from C3 – A5!

Danza española No 2 “Orientale” (Enrique Granados)
Range of bells: C5 – C7

Enrique Granados, one of the great Spanish pianist/composers, had a tremendous gift for capturing the scenes of his homeland with dots and lines. This solo conjures up an image of the quietude of an autumn night.

Leyenda (from “Cantas de España”)
Range of bells: G4 – C7

Leyenda is one of the great pieces from the Spanish classical literature that Sonos brilliantly brought to the attention of the handbell world. Now you, the handbell soloist, can team up with your accompanist to create the same fire!

Malagueña
Range of bells: C#5 – E7

Ernesto Lecuona’s possibly-most-familiar work describes a woman of the town of Malaga. When you play this, it surely will create a musical portrait of a lady with flair and boldness! Commissioned by Lisa Arnold.

O Sacred Head
Range of bells: C5 – C7

Few hymns have had a more enduring effect on the Church than this Crucifixion remembrance. This unaccompanied handbell solo offers an opportunity for traveling 4-in-hand, or can be played as a bell tree solo.

Still, Still, Still
Range of bells: C5 – B6

Our treble solo arrangement of Still, Still, Still is fairly easy for the soloist. It’s a great piece for Christmas Eve.

This is My Father’s World
Bass handbell solo

Arranged in honor of Marcy Winter, who organized the Rogue Valley Handbell Festival for 26 years, making a tremendous contribution to the handbell world. This bass handbell solo uses bells ranging from Db3 to G5, and is not for the faint of heart!
