Our handbell ministry is an important part of what we do. Handbell music can enhance your worship experience!

We are experienced church musicians, and have a large repertoire of hymns and beautiful melodies to bring to your worship service. We can play a pre-service prelude, Communion music, an anthem/special music, offertory and postlude music – or any combination.

If you need handbells to accompany your choir, or looking for guest musicians during the summer months, we can help. If you need music for a special event, reception or coffee hour, let us know.

Fees, expenses and ideas to consider:

We are based in Holland, Michigan, but we’re willing to travel both nationally and internationally. For churches that are local to us, we often prefer not to charge the standard “performance fee plus expenses”. Instead, we ask that you make an offering to us that fits within your budget, to help us continue our ministry. Money can be an awkward subject for churches and musicians as we try to balance “providing a ministry” with “paying the bills”. As professional Christian musicians, we appreciate your understanding in this.

For churches outside our area, we’re happy to discuss how we can bring our music to your congregation. As a handbell duo, our space requirements, set-up time, and costs will often be smaller than those of a traditional full-size handbell choir.

Travel costs can be expensive. We’re happy to combine several bookings where possible, to make it more affordable for our hosts. For example, we could perform a concert at one church, play in a service at another, and teach at a handbell workshop. That way, the costs could be shared between two or more churches. If we’re already in your local area to teach at a handbell festival, we could play at your church on the Sunday after the festival, saving on travel costs. It might also be possible to partner with a local business. For example, we could perform at a corporate holiday party on a Saturday evening, and play in a worship service the following morning.
