6-Bell Music

6-bell music has been an exciting new adventure for us! It all came about because Larry had shoulder surgery in the spring of 2020. As a result, he had to wear a sling on his right arm for six weeks. That could have been a struggle, but Larry’s not the kind of person to sit around and feel sorry for himself. After the surgery, he started writing music for just six bells.

Our 6-bell music comes with piano accompaniment, included with the sheet music. The accompaniments are interesting and challenging enough for skilled pianists to enjoy playing. In addition, mp3 backing tracks are available to purchase and download. These tracks can be useful if you don’t have a pianist available, or if you want to practise at home. Our 6-bell arrangements can be played by 2-3 ringers, and have no bell-sharing and no table-techniques. For that reason, they’re perfect for socially-distant ringers to play!
