Our long-distance relationship happened a long time ago now, and ended when we closed the distance in 2012. We first met online in 2008, when Carla was living in England, and Larry was in California. We survived nearly three years in a long-distance relationship before we were able to close the distance between us.

Being together in the same place involved a lot of challenges, including a long visa process! 

We’ve thought a lot about our LDR experiences over the years. We’ve even considered writing a book, as a way to support and encourage other couples going through something similar. Maybe we’ll actually manage to do that someday! In the meantime, you can find some of our thoughts on this website, and on our Facebook page.
