Do you need to hire a handbell choir for your event? Why not book a handbell duo? As West Michigan’s smallest handbell choir (just the two of us), we provide beautiful handbell music for a variety of events. We’ve been performing together as a professional handbell ensemble since 2012. Holding two bells in each hand, we specialise in performing our own arrangements of music for just eight handbells. We aim to demonstrate that handbells are not just enchanting to hear, but a visual art as well.

Handbell music can bring a touch of magic to many different events and occasions. It can be a great addition to concerts, worship services, wedding ceremonies and Christmas and holiday events. Handbell music can bring comfort during memorial services, as we remember loved ones.

Why book a handbell duo?

If you love the sound of handbells, but don’t have the space for a full handbell choir, a handbell duo could be the perfect solution. You can book us to play hymns for a worship or remembrance service. We can play a couple of hours of background music at a community or corporate event, or bring a concert to where you are. We can also provide ceremony music for weddings, and present interesting and educational programs for community group meetings. If you’re planning a holiday party, why not welcome your guests with traditional Christmas carols played on handbells?

Do you need a clinician for your workshop or handbell conference?

With over sixty years of handbell experience between us, we are available to teach handbell techniques to individuals and groups. We’ll work with your handbell choir to improve your skills or help you feel performance-ready for a concert or worship service. Larry is a bass handbell specialist, and can use the techniques discussed in his book The Bass Ringer’s Notebook to help you feel confident that you’re playing those bass bells musically and safely. If you’re feeling adventurous and you’d like to learn how to play handbells in the traditional British 4-in-hand style, Carla will teach you! We can also teach classes on treble techniques, and 8-bell/small group music.
