We first met online when Carla was living in England, and Larry was in California. We survived nearly three years in a long-distance relationship before we were able to close the distance between us.

Being together in the same place involved a long visa process! 

We’d like to share a lot more about our LDR experiences. We’ve thought many times about writing a book, as a way to support and encourage other couples going through something similar. Maybe we’ll actually manage to do that someday! In the meantime, you can find some of our thoughts on this website, and on our Facebook page. You can read about our suggestions for dealing with some of the challenges we had to face, and some of the difficult and stressful experiences involved.
