Is our handbell music the right fit for your wedding ceremony?
You need the music to be perfect for your special day. We are no substitute for an organist or pianist, as our music is not designed to accompany congregational singing. However, there are ways to incorporate beautiful handbell music into your wedding. We can play a selection of pieces as a prelude while your guests are arriving and taking their seats. We can play special music during the ceremony, or a postlude at the end. After the ceremony we can ring traditional peals, in the style of English church bells. There’s an ancient belief that bells at a wedding will bring good luck and happiness for the couple – and we support that wholeheartedly!
Why book a handbell duo for your wedding ceremony music?
A handbell duo is ideal for smaller, intimate weddings where space is at a premium. You won’t need to find room for the long line of tables a regular handbell choir would need. Our performance area is about half the size of a parking space!
We’re happy to play our handbell duets for traditional and not-so-traditional weddings; religious or secular. We can play for indoor or outdoor ceremonies, although we’ll need shelter from wind, rain and snow. Winter weather can be unpredictable! We’re based in Michigan, but willing to travel.
We believe that all love should be celebrated! It should go without saying (but we’ll say it anyway, to remove any doubt) that LGBTQ+ couples are welcome.

You’re welcome to contact us and give us details about the service you’re planning. Tell us what you need, and if we can provide it, we’ll send you a quote. If you decide to book us, we’ll communicate by email, prepare contracts if necessary, let you know if we need a deposit, and arrange for full payment close to the date of the event.
Alternatively, you can use the GigSalad online booking platform. This is a good option if you’d like to:
- keep your personal contact information private
- pay the full balance upfront, at the time of booking (including a GigSalad booking fee)
- stay in touch with us by communicating on the GigSalad site
- be able to leave a review for us after the event
